Textures Offered

  • Drywall is simply hung with no joint treatment, texture, or finishing. Typically used in temporary construction or areas hidden from view.

  • Joints and interior angles have joint tape embedded in joint compound, but no further finishing is done. Used in areas that are not exposed or for plenum spaces.

  • Description text goes hereA second coat of compound is applied over the tape and screw holes, but it's not sanded or fully smooth. Suitable for garages or unfinished areas.

  • Another coat of joint compound is applied and sanded, and it’s ready for a heavy-texture finish like knockdown or orange peel. Suitable for medium-textured finishes.

  • Multiple coats of joint compound are applied, and it’s sanded to a smooth finish. This level is ready for light textures like a subtle orange peel or smooth surface with minor imperfections. Ideal for areas where flat or low-sheen paints will be used.

  • The entire surface is coated with a thin skim coat of joint compound, sanded to a smooth, uniform surface. This is the highest level and is recommended for high-gloss or semi-gloss paints or areas with bright lighting where imperfections would show.
